Property Description
Greenland Guesthouse is nestled within the exotic Byron Bay rain forest.
We have a beautiful swimming pool, or you can take a short walk to crowd-free Tallow Beach for a dip in the ocean and some quality sunbathing. Take along one of our free surfboards if you already know how to surf. If you don’t know how to surf, then we’ll set up a fun lesson for you. We can also get you in to the best mountain bike and kayak tours, as well as skydiving and scuba diving - all easy and worry-free. Byron Bay is an adventure paradise and you won’t be disappointed. Greenland Guesthouse is on the main road out of Byron Bay, surrounded by lush nature and birds - even wallabies, flying foxes and wild bush turkeys - and secluded from the busy centre by just a 5-minute drive. But, don’t worry (be happy!) because we provide a free shuttle into town from morning ’til night. You can also take advantage of our free bicycles to make a nice tour of the town … or bike around the loop path through Arakwal National Park and Tallow Beach to Suffolk Park.
Located out of the busy Byron Bay town centre, Greenland Guesthouse is naturally chill - away from the noise of partying and nightclubs. It is a good place to relax. We have a nice social atmosphere - many guests come and then book more nights after finding a nice little home away from home - and you won’t get bored or pay extra, because we give you free use of our laptop, wi-fi, DVDs and DV3 or satellite TV. You also have free use of our kitchen, dishes, appliances, gas grill and wood-fired grill. If you don’t like to cook or can’t be bothered, have the resident chef prepare you 'one of the best pizzas in Australia,' or something else from our small menu.
Overall, we are a small hostel/guesthouse with an occupancy of 23 people, or less, at any time. We offer a great value - usually the best rates in Byron Bay - and we strive to offer you good, attentive service. We have only one bunk bed, and our beds are spread out, with lots of space to put your luggage. Every room has its own bathroom.
We offer breakfast, pizza and a small breakfast menu.
We also offer massage and private yoga sessions.

the staff is super friendly and always helping out with a ride to or from town.
the location is quite awesome.
sitting on the pourch and having the raindforrest right in front of you ?! didnt had that till yet.
also there is free internet which is pretty awesome when you compare that to other hostals in bb.
